Art Director's Night Concept

Art director's night is an event where exclusive art directors come and meet new potential artists. This whole illustration was vectorized in illustrator. One thing I love about that program is that this file size is under 2mbs. Toughest challenge was to keep the glass slipper transparent and the red pillow soft. Since the actual date and location was not specify when the assignment was given. The layout of the text are just placeholders for the real information.

Smackers

Crack is Whack, so eat Smack! haha I wish that was my main ad campaign for Honey Smacks. After much research, I realize this IS a kid's cereal. I couldn't advertise this as an energy cereal or even harder a health cereal. This cereal is already advertise to children with Dig'em the frog, what about parents or those young at heart? Used photograph from photolibrary.com, have to give credit where credit is due =P

Fallen Angel

One of my fav Orkin ad campaign out of nine i created. What better way to enjoy the holiday, finding an angel left his mark. Images gathered from photolibrary.com, awesome stuff to work with.

Todd

Card design and logo redesign of Todd Hoppmeyer. Someone else designed the logo but I made my clean up version for this card design. Fonts were his choice, layouts I made. I focus my design around the circuit board. Everything is done in illustrator. Like usual I made two versions off the same initial design. Which do you think is better?

Sand_surfer

I decided to illustrate this after hearing stories about sand surfing in Mongolia. That place sounds awesome, camel riding through the blazing desert. I'm going to name my camel chuckie.

This is my second version of Craig's card. First one I did turned out rough, so I decide to clean up the logo making the curves smooth. This one i based on sound waves and his initials C A. Like usual, I always make different versions.

I figured i'll start posting card designs I've done in the past, This one is for Dustin Johnson which I should have a link on my profile. Since he's a sequential artist, i figured I'll go with the blue line sketch concept. The logo I rendered in illustrator, but the background is actually one of his drawings.

Chicken Soba

I have no idea why i created this illustration.....oh who am i kidding who doesn't like a plump chicken? Had some copy to this illustration but it's flexible for any type of ad. Actually doing the research for this ad made me feel guilty at myself so i took a jog that day.

Applemask

Well this is my first posting. An illustration done in illustrator, after a long study I prefer simplifying my illustrationsl, but still get my point across (lol... so i hope) anyways it's my first attempt at a gradient mesh which i think turn out well, What do you think?
